Bob Muñoz

A founding partner of the firm, Bob heads up our Tax, Trust & Estate Department. His specialties are Land Use, Tax and Elder Law.  He provides advice and services to individuals seeking to plan their estates utilizing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills and health care proxies.  Mr. Muñoz utilizes his Master of Laws degree in tax to help clients minimize their potential tax exposure.  He aids executors and administrators in administering the estates of decedents as well as compliance with Federal and State death taxes.  He often appears in court on behalf of estates and beneficiaries to make sure a decedent's intentions are fulfilled.

Mr. Muñoz also provides advice on corporate formations, tax and succession planning to all types of businesses. Having served various boards and governing bodies in Monmouth, Middlesex, Mercer and Morris counties, he also provides guidance for his corporate and private clients for their land use applications and litigation.

He is a former Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey.  He has argued successfully before the courts at every level in the state, including such high profile cases as Manalapan Realty v. Township of Manalapan, 140 N.J. 366 (1995).

For his outstanding work and success helping victims of the 9-11 attack on the World Trade Center, Bob was one of the recipients of the 2004 Public Justice Achievement Award - given jointly by Trial Lawyers Care, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and New Jersey and New York State Trial Lawyers Association.  This award is presented in recognition of those "who achieve remarkable victories in cases proving that trial lawyers, working together, can dramatically advance the public good."

Bob served three terms as the chairman of the Western Monmouth Chamber of Commerce (2006-2008).
