Donald
Lomurro is a founding member of the firm. He heads up
the firm's Criminal and Civil Litigation Departments.
He
has been designated by the Supreme Court of New Jersey
as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney from 1988 to present
and a certified Criminal Trial Attorney from 1982 to
present.
Mr.
Lomurro has been designated as a Super Lawyer in the
State of New Jersey by Law and Politics and NJ Monthly
Magazine for 2005 and 2006. He is a past recipient of
the Outstanding Professional Achievement Award from
New Jersey State Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division.
Mr. Lomurro is also a member of the
Million Dollar Advocates Forum. This membership is limited
to trial lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skill,
experience and excellence in Advocacy by achieving a
trial verdict award or settlement in the amount of one
million dollars or more.
He
has authored "Thirteenth Amendment and Education: An
Unfulfilled Promise," University of South Dakota Law
Review, Vol. 20, No. 2, Spring 1975.
Mr.
Lomurro is a Certified Member, National Board of Trial
Advocacy. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar
Association (Member, Trustee Certified Trial Attorneys
Section) and served as the Chairman from 1998 to 2000.
Mr. Lomurro is a member of the following: the Association
of Trial Lawyers of America; National Association of
Defense Criminal Attorneys; New Jersey Association of
Defense Criminal Attorneys. He has volunteered as an
instructor at the South Dakota Trial Academy (contracted
with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy) and the
Hayden Proctor Institute of Court. He
was also past Chairman of Certified Trial Attorneys
Section - N.J. Bar Association.
