Edward Eastman, a founding partner of the firm, is head of the real estate department. His focus is primarily on real estate, land use, environmental and title insurance matters, representation of title insurance underwriters in defense litigation; extensive knowledge and experience in tidelands matters both in litigation and in administrative proceedings before the Tidelands Resource Council.

He has designated by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney. He is also a Qualified Mediator by the State of New Jersey. Mr. Eastman received the 2006 Annual Legislative Recognition Award from the New Jersey State Bar Association for his extraordinary efforts, unselfish service and countless hours to the Association on legislation

He is a member of the Monmouth, New Jersey State and American Bar Associations; Real Property Law Section, Board of Consultors: 1999 to Present; Executive Director of New Jersey Land Title Association (1998, 1999, 2000); Deputy Director of New Jersey Land Title Insurance Rating Bureau (1999, 2000); Director of New Jersey Land Title Association (2000 to Present).
