JAMES
A. PAONE, II. is a member of the firm’s Corporate/Commercial
Litigation, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury and Employment
Law Departments. His many years of experience include
handling the defense of personal injury/negligence,
construction, public entity liability, civil rights
and employment law matters.
Since joining Lomurro, Davison, Eastman
& Muñoz, Mr. Paone continues to concentrate
his practice in the defense of general liability, public
entity and personal injury cases. In addition, Mr. Paone
represents private corporation engaged in bidding on
public construction projects and represents clients
in matters involving construction and commercial litigation.
He also heads the firm’s workers’ compensation
department.
Prior to joining Lomurro, Davison, Eastman
& Muñoz, Mr. Paone was a partner with Carton
& Faccone in Avon, N.J. While at Carton & Faccone,
Mr. Paone’s practice concentrated in the defense
of personal injury, public entity and civil rights matter.
During that time, he was responsible for all phases
of civil litigation including pretrial discovery, motions,
depositions, jury and non-jury trials. He has litigated
extensively in both State and Federal Courts. Additionally,
Mr. Paone serves as an arbitrator for State Farm, All
state and New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Companies.
Mr. Paone serves on the District IX Panel of the New
Jersey Supreme Court’s Ethics Committee. He is
a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and
a Trustee of the Monmouth Bar Association. He is also
a member of the Defense Research Institute (Construction,
Employment, Government Liability and Trial Committees).
