Personal injury cases involve situations where our
clients have been injured as a result of the conduct
of others. Our clients often suffer disabling injury,
monetary loss and a disruption of their daily lives.
During these trying times, the stress upon them, and
their families, is often extreme. Peace of mind comes
from knowing that you have hired experienced professionals
whose mission statement is “Dedicated to Excellence
in the Practice of Law.”
The
Personal Injury Department has 4 attorneys designated
by the New Jersey Supreme Court as Certified Civil
Trial Attorneys: Donald M. Lomurro, Thomas M. Comer,
Michael D. Schottland and Daniel M. Santarsiero. To
achieve the certified designation, an attorney must
demonstrate experience in trial work, dedication to
continuing legal education, positive reviews from
peers and judges, and proficiency through written
testing. In addition to the 4 Certified Civil Trial
Attorneys, our personal injury team includes H. Frank
Carpentier, who has over forty years of personal injury
experience, associate Carrie A. Lumi, an experienced
legal writer and former Law Clerk to the Honorable
Anthony Millaci, Jr., and associate Jonathan H. Lomurro,
the newest member of our team.
The
firm also prides itself on its caring staff, which
includes paralegals and secretaries trained in working
with clients who have suffered personal injuries.
(In particular,) the staff deals regularly with medical
and insurance questions that arise, sometimes daily,
in the lives of our clients.
Personal injury law in New Jersey has become increasingly
complex and presently imposes strict time constraints
within which the client and attorney must operate.
Failure to act within these time constraints may result
in a serious claim being forfeited. The attorneys
in the personal injury department have practiced personal
injury law for a combined 130+ years and are dedicated
to bringing this wealth of knowledge and training
to the prosecution of these serious cases. We stand
ready to assist you if you or someone you know is
injured by the act of another. Because there are time
limitations built into New Jersey laws, please remember
that consulting a lawyer as soon as possible after
suffering an injury is critical.
