Mr.
Heugle is a senior partner and chairman of the firm's
corporate/commercial litigation department.
With
more than twenty-six years of experience, Mr. Heugle
has extensive trial experience in construction, condemnation
(eminent domain), product liability, commercial and
personal injury defense matters. Mr. Heugle's practice
encompasses the defense of architects and engineers,
as well as workplace/industrial accidents and a wide
range of business and employment disputes. He has been
certified for more than ten years by the N.J. Supreme
Court as a Civil Trial Attorney.
In addition to handling complex civil litigation in
both State and Federal Courts, Mr. Heugle has a wealth
of experience in handling AAA arbitrations. He served
as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey
from 1980 to 1984 with primary responsibility for complex
construction claims and contract actions. Mr. Heugle
also represented the State at condemnation commissioners'
hearings and trials; and he also served as a municipal
prosecutor.
Mr.
Heugle maintains active membership in the American Bar
Association (Construction Industry Section), New Jersey
State Bar Association, Monmouth Bar Association, and
the Defense Research Institute (DRI). He is also the
founder of The Frances Foundation for Kids Fighting
Cancer, Inc.
