Simon Kaufman is a member of the firm's Wills, Trusts and Estates Municipal Law and General Litigation Departments. Prior to joining the firm he served as the attorney for the Perth Amboy Parking Authority (1986-1989). From 1990-1993, Mr. Kaufman was the Municipal Court Judge for the City of Perth Amboy and Acting Judge for Carteret, Woodbridge, South Amboy, Sayreville, Metuchen, Dunellen, Monroe and East Brunswick.

Mr. Kaufman's commitment to his community is visible with his service as a volunteer fireman and volunteer First Aider/EMT. He was an American Red Cross water safety instructor, small crafts instructor, first aid instructor and an American Heart Association CPR instructor. He also has obtained the rank of Eagle Scout and is a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow. He was active in many capacities in the Boy Scouts including camp staff member, waterfront director, camping committee and district chairman. He has held many different positions in his synagogue including Men's Club President and Congregation President.
