Rich Lomurro argues before New Jersey Supreme Court

State v. L.H. involved a case where the accused was being investigated for 3 sexual assaults. The police during their investigation made false promises to get the suspect to confess, which he ultimately did. The issue before the Supreme Court was whether the confession was voluntary or not. Mr. Lomurro argued that any confession brought about by false promises of leniency cannot be voluntary per se.
